Little Lights on the Lane is where it all began — a dream sketched from the heart and built with purpose. Long before the walls went up, Erin, the founder and owner of Little Lights and Kindling & Crew, envisioned a space where life’s most meaningful moments could unfold naturally — a place that felt grounded, warm, and alive with light.
Every element of Little Lights was designed with intention. From the way the building sits against the rolling Iowa hills to the natural textures and simple lines of its Scandinavian-inspired design, each choice was made to honor the beauty of the landscape and the authenticity of the moments celebrated within it.
The venue blends modern minimalism with farmhouse comfort: whitewashed shiplap walls, custom handmade tables, 30-foot sliding glass doors that open to a 100-foot covered porch, an all-season bar, two luxury suites, and a versatile loft space for gatherings of up to 300 guests. It’s functional, inviting, and endlessly adaptable — a blank canvas for love stories of every kind.
But Little Lights is more than a venue. It’s a reflection of Erin’s belief that the little moments are, in fact, the big ones. That glow you feel when you slow down, when laughter fills the room, when time seems to pause — that’s the light this place was built for.
Since opening, the Little Lights team has hosted over a thousand weddings, each one unique yet connected by the same spirit of care and intentionality. It’s not just about a beautiful space; it’s about the people who fill it and the team that helps bring every celebration to life with heart, experience, and grace.
